PhD Recruitment Fair 2025 - 4 PhD Student Positions
PhD Student
Materials Physics Center (CFM, CSIC-UPV/EHU) in Donostia / San Sebastián, (the Basque Country, Spain) seeks for bright, highly motivated PhD candidates who are willing to work in an intellectually stimulating environment to develop cutting-edge training and research on Materials Science, exploring physical and chemical properties of advanced materials, nanostructures and nanodevices, either theoretically or experimentally. They will have access to the most advanced techniques in the field and develop industry-transferable skills.
Approximately 25 applicants will be shortlisted for online interviews in March. In the interviews, the candidates will have the opportunity to discuss the research projects with the supervisors of the different projects and/or the Evaluation Committee.
From the interviews, 4 candidates will be selected and granted full studentships.

TÉCNICO DE PREVENCIÓN DE RIESGOS LABORALES
Technician Position
DONOSTIA INTERNATIONAL PHYSICS CENTER – DIPC (en adelante, DIPC) y ASOCIACIÓN DE INVESTIGACIÓN MPC – MATERIALS PHYSICS CENTER (en adelante, MPC) han abierto el plazo de solicitud para una posición como Técnico/a de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales. La persona seleccionada será responsable de garantizar la salud y seguridad de los trabajadores en todos los centros en los que desarrollen su labor, así como de gestionar y coordinar actividades de prevención y formación en el ámbito de los riesgos laborales.
En cuanto a las condiciones del contrato, el candidato deberá incorporarse en febrero - marzo de 2025, y lo hará mediante un contrato a tiempo parcial con el DIPC y otro contrato, también a tiempo parcial, con el MPC, alcanzando entre ambos contratos la jornada laboral completa (37,5 horas semanales).

The Polymers & Soft Matter Group at CFM is offering a predoctoral position (1+1+1 years) starting in September to work with Profs. Angel Alegría and Arantxa Arbe. This is a collaboration research project with the Michelin company.
The positions will be funded by the Michelin company. The selected candidate will be hired by the Research Association MPC – Materials Physics Center. The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros during the first year before taxes.
